Joe Apollo is an artist from Detroit, MI. Joe Apollo was born and raised on the Eastside of the city. Joe Apollo established his first interest in music from being in various music choirs for more than half of his life. Joe talks about his experiences throughout his lifetime telling his story through uptempo or a boom bap style of music. His biggest influences are Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Drake, among others. Joe Apollo received his first viral success with his first song “Rihanna” which he dropped the first time he was denied being signed. The song accumulated over 1 million streams within 3 months. Besides being on the radio and gaining a large number of fans, Joe Apollo’s biggest accomplishment is having family and friends full support behind his career.
